3-in-1 Combo Singapore: Haircut, Beard, and Colour in a Single Session

A working week is short. A diary is full. The man who reads the calendar at the start of the month and realises he needs a haircut, a beard refresh, and his colour topped up in the same fortnight has a choice: three appointments spread across three days, or one appointment that handles everything in a single, properly-paced sitting.

The 3-in-1 Combo at The British Barbers exists for the second choice. It is not a discount, and it is not a shortcut. It is the same three services — Royal Haircut, beard refinement, and Men’s Hair Colour — performed in the right sequence, by the same barber, in one continuous session.

Service: 3-in-1 Combo — SGD 245

Why an Executive Combo Earns Its Place in the Diary

Most professional men who book this combination are not doing so out of vanity. They are doing it out of arithmetic. Three separate appointments mean three separate journeys to Chinatown, three separate slots blocked out of the working week, and three separate disruptions to whatever they were doing before they sat down in the chair.

The 3-in-1 Combo collapses all of that into a single ninety-minute block. The gentleman arrives in the morning before the working day begins, or at the start of his lunch hour for a longer break, and leaves with three services completed and the next four to six weeks of his grooming routine settled in one go.

The mathematics of time, in other words, is the real value proposition. The chair time is similar to the sum of the individual services. The diary time saved is considerable.

What the Combo Actually Includes

The 3-in-1 Combo is exactly that — three full services, not three abbreviated ones. The sequence is fixed for good reason:

  • The Royal Haircut, performed first, while the hair is still in its natural state
  • The beard refinement, performed second, against the new hairline of the cut
  • The Men’s Hair Colour, performed third, once the cut and beard have set the shape

The Royal Haircut is the same one we offer as a standalone service. Scissors over comb, finished by hand, with the cleaning and finishing that any first-time client to our chair receives.

The beard refinement is a defined neckline, a clean cheek line, and the precise shaping that complements the new haircut. It is not a quick tidy. It is the version we would do if you had booked a Beard Trim on its own.

The Men’s Hair Colour is full-coverage, performed with a professional formulation matched to your natural base. The colour is rinsed, toned, and finished — never left raw.

Total chair time is roughly ninety minutes to two hours, depending on hair length and colour depth.

The Order Matters More Than Most Clients Realise

A combo session that gets the sequence wrong saves no time at all. Colour the hair first, and the haircut afterwards removes the freshly coloured strands. Trim the beard before the haircut, and the line of the cut may force a second beard correction. The order is what makes the combo work, and we will not vary it on request.

The Royal Haircut comes first because the haircut sets the shape that the beard must complement. The beard refinement comes second because the beard line is read against the new hair. The colour comes last because the colour follows the final shape of the hair and beard, not the shape they had when the gentleman walked in.

This is the kind of detail that separates a true combo from a discounted multi-service. We charge SGD 245 for the combo because each of the three services is performed in full. The saving is in time and in coordination, not in the work itself.

Who Books the 3-in-1 Combo in Singapore

The chair sees three kinds of gentlemen for this service. The first is the executive who has accepted that personal grooming maintenance is not optional but who refuses to let it consume more than one well-planned visit a month. He books the combo before any major work week, every four to six weeks.

The second is the business traveller passing through Singapore who has perhaps two or three days in the country and wants every grooming task completed before he leaves. We see his name on the diary perhaps four or five times a year, almost always at the start of his visit.

The third is the gentleman returning from a long absence — a posting overseas, a period of focused work, a stretch of family obligation — who needs to bring his appearance back to standard in a single sitting before resuming his normal routine. The combo, performed thoroughly, restores him in one visit.

All three want the same thing: efficiency without compromise on quality.

How the Combo Compares to Booking Each Service Separately

Booked separately at our standard rates, the same three services come to SGD 255 (a Royal Haircut at 85 to 105, a Beard Trim at 50 to 60, and Men’s Hair Colour at 145). The combo at SGD 245 includes the full version of each. The price difference is modest because, as noted, the saving is in time rather than in the work.

For the gentleman who maintains all three of these services regularly, the combo is the natural choice. For the gentleman who wants only two of the three on a given visit, separate bookings remain the right answer.

We also offer a paired Haircut + Traditional Shave Combo for gentlemen who prefer a clean-shaven look — that is a separate service at SGD 145, and is described under its own page.

Maintenance Between Combo Visits

A 3-in-1 Combo carries the gentleman comfortably for four to six weeks before the next visit becomes worthwhile. The colour, in particular, signals when the next combo is due — the new growth at the roots is usually visible by week six.

Between combo visits, the lightest at-home maintenance is enough. A quality shampoo matched to coloured hair, a beard balm twice a week, and a comb through the hair every morning. No heavy products. No frequent cuts in between. The combo is designed to do the heavy lifting in one visit.

For gentlemen on a six-week cycle, we are happy to lock in the same day and time each visit so the diary remains predictable.

The Master Barber Behind the Chair

A 3-in-1 Combo requires the barber to hold the whole picture in mind simultaneously: the cut, the beard line, the colour direction. Most barbershops will not offer a combo of this kind because the three services are usually performed by three different specialists. The risk is that the gentleman leaves with three good services that do not quite belong to the same head.

Mr Hassan El Gamal performs all three services himself when the combo is booked with him. The haircut he has performed for twenty-five years, since training under the Egyptian Barbers Academy in 1999 and earning his Master Barber distinction in 2004. The beard work he has refined under his guild accreditation in the British Barbers Association and the Egyptian Barbers Academy. The colour he has applied to gentlemen across three climates — Egypt, Dubai, and Singapore — and to executives, diplomats, and chief executives whose names remain private out of respect and discretion.

The three services, performed by the same hand, leave the chair as one composition. That is the only result we are willing to put our name on.

Visit Us — One Hundred Metres from Maxwell MRT

The British Barbers sits at 37A Kreta Ayer Road, Chinatown Singapore. Maxwell MRT is one hundred metres away, which makes a 3-in-1 Combo a realistic option for gentlemen working in the CBD even on a busy day.

Sunday to Friday we open at 9 in the morning and close at 8 in the evening. Saturday we open at 11 and close at 8. The combo requires at least three days’ advance booking and a continuous block of roughly two hours in the diary.

For gentlemen on a recurring schedule, we recommend booking the next combo at the end of the current one. The diary fills several weeks ahead, particularly for the morning and Friday afternoon slots.
