Whilst the salon hums with conversation, your hour unfolds in a separate room — closed to all but you, your barber, and the quiet rituals our clients have come to expect over a quarter of a century.

You arrive. You are received. You leave precisely the gentleman you came to be.
The Experience

The Welcome A car at the kerb, a chair already drawn.
A driver may collect you from your residence, hotel, or office in Singapore proper. Inside the suite, you are received with English Breakfast tea, an espresso from our private bar, or a single measure of single-malt — your preference is held on file.
The Consultation We do not ask what you want. We observe what suits you.
Hassan personally surveys your hair, your skin, and the rhythm of the week ahead. Where appropriate, we suggest. Where not, we honour. The conversation is yours to begin, or to forgo entirely.
The Craft Hot towel. Single-edge straight razor. Hand-finished neckline.
Beard contouring sculpted, not styled. Hair shaped with British shears and the discipline of a tradition that pre-dates the noise. You will not feel a clipper drag, nor a comb tug. You will not hear small talk you did not begin.
The Departure A second hot towel. Bay rum, if you favour it.
A fitting of your collar before the mirror. Should you wish, we send a portrait to your phone — for your tailor, your photographer, or the record. The suite remains yours until your hour is concluded; we do not rush you out.
A Word From Hassan
I learnt this craft in Cairo and refined it in Dubai. For nine years I attended His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and gentlemen of state from a dozen capitals besides. I opened these doors in Singapore in 2004 because this island deserved a proper British chair. The Private Suite is where the older trade still lives — slowly, precisely, and entirely for one man at a time.

The Inclusions
A single reservation includes the following.
The suite is yours for ninety minutes — even should the work itself conclude in forty.
- · A 90-minute reserved window — the chair is yours alone, even if your service ends in forty.
- · Master Barber service from Hassan, or a personally-trained member of his team.
- · Hot-towel preparation, single-edge straight-razor finish, and our signature post-shave ritual.
- · Bespoke beard sculpting where required.
- · Tea, espresso, single-malt, or sparkling water — refilled as you read.
- · A complimentary travel companion: your choice of British Barbers’ Association pomade, beard oil, or aftershave to take with you.
- · WhatsApp memory of your preferences for every visit thereafter — colour, length, scents, the way you take your tea.

A Quiet Clientele

The Private Suite is, by name and by nature, private.
We do not display the names of those who visit, nor photograph the room when occupied.
References, when asked, are exchanged in confidence — between gentlemen, never on letterhead.

Reservations are by request only.
Confirmed within the hour. Hassan reads every message himself.
Out-of-hours appointments are accommodated for travelling clients with prior notice.
A Practical Note On Investment
The Private Suite is offered at a fixed rate. We will quote it to you in conversation, not on a page — because the room, the hour, and the man each carry a different weight.
We have never had a gentleman who reserved twice tell us it was dear.
